Telangana Law Common Entrance Test (TS LAWCET- 2024) for admission into 3 / 5 year law courses (LL.B.) and TS PG Law Common Entrance Test (TS PGLCET-2024) for admission into LL.M courses offered by State Universities in Telangana State including their affiliated colleges for the academic year 2024-25 will be conducted by Osmania University, Hyderabad, Telangana State.

The Telangana Council of Higher Education has released a notification for admissions to law courses for the academic year 2024-25, TS LASET, which conducts admissions to courses like LLB and LLM, has released the schedule for PG LASET. Eligible candidates can apply.

Eligibility Criteria For TS LAWCET 2024

3-year LL.B. Course – The Candidates for 3-year LL. B. Course should have passed any Graduate Degree (10+2+3 pattern) of a recognized University or any other examination recognized as equivalent by the Universities concerned with 45% of aggregate marks for general category, 42% for OBC Category and 40% for SC/ST. If any candidate secured less than 45%, 42% and 40% respectively in graduation as stated above, he should have secured same percentage or more on the aggregate in any Post Graduation or B.Ed.

5-Year LL.B. Course – The Candidates for 5 year LL.B. course should have passed two year Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) or any other examination recognized as equivalent by the University concerned or the Board of Intermediate Education, T.S. with 45% of aggregate marks for general category, 42% for OBC Category and 40% for SC/ST.

Qualifying Marks for TS LAWCET 2024 – The qualifying percentage of marks in the Entrance Test is 35% (i.e. 42 marks out of total 120 marks). For candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes, no minimum qualifying percentage of marks are prescribed.

Age Limit – There shall be no Age restriction for the candidates seeking admission into LL. B. Courses, through appearing at TS LAWCET as per the Bar Council of India Lr. No. BCI/D/2337/2018(LE/Cir.4) dated 26.11.2018. The detailed information is available in the
official website i.e., http://www.barcouncilofindia.org. The candidate shall be bound by the
rule framed by the Bar Council of India, Legal Education Rules from time to time.

Eligibility Criteria For S PGLCET-2024

Candidates holding LL.B./B.L. 3/5 Year degree on the date of application are eligible and
candidates who have appeared/appearing for LL.B./B.L. Final year examination are also
eligible, A candidate appearing for LLB/BL degree examinations may take the TSPGLCET in
anticipation of results. However he/she must have passed at the time of counselling.

Qualifying Marks for TS PGLCET-2024 -The qualifying percentage of marks in the Entrance Test is 25% (i.e. 30 marks out of total 120 marks), For candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes, no minimum qualifying percentage of marks is prescribe
