Telangana State Education Common Entrance Test (ED.CET) will be conducted as a computer-based test (TS Ed.CET-2025 (CBT)) by Mahatma Gandhi University, Nalgonda. The test is for admission into the 2-year B.Ed regular course in the Colleges of Education in Telangana State for the academic year 2025-25.
The TSEDCET exam date is 23-05-2025 (Thursday) and Time of Examination First Session 10.00 AM – 12.00 NOON Second Session 2.00 PM – 4.00 PM, Online applications will begin on March 6, 2025. Candidates can apply online through the official site of TSCHE at edcet.tsche.ac.in.
Please remember the following All candidates must fill in the mandatory / optional details in the application form for successful submission of the TS Ed.CET 2025 Application. Therefore, it is advised to have all the mandatory details ready before proceeding to fill out the online application form.
Telangana Ed.CET Eligibility Criteria
Candidates satisfying the following requirements shall be eligible to appear for TS Ed.CET-2025 (CBT) for admission into 2-year B.Ed Course.
- In any Bachelors Degree i.e., B.A, B.Com, B.Sc, B.Sc (Home Science), BCA, BBM/BBA or in the Masters Degree or any other qualification equivalent thereto. Securing at least 50% aggregate marks.
- Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with Science and Mathematics with 50% aggregate marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto.
- However, for candidates belonging to the reserved categories viz., SC/ ST/ BC and Physically Challenged categories should have secured 40% Marks in the qualifying examination.
- The candidates who are appearing for the final year degree examination are also eligible to appear for TS Ed.CET-2025.

Age limit – The candidate should have completed the age of 19 years as on 1st July of the year in which notification is issued. There shall be no upper age limit.
Applications Registration Fee – Applications should be submitted through ONLINE mode only. The Registration fee for online submission and late fee, if applicable, may be paid at TS Online/AP Online Centers and also through payment gateway (Credit Card/Debit Card/ Net Banking).
