PNB Fixed Deposits offer competitive interest rates which vary depending on tenure and market conditions PNB has increased interest rates on select Fixed Deposits (FDs) on certain tenures and reduced rates on certain tenures.
In a surprise move by PNB, a statement said Rs. Reduced fixed deposit interest rate for amounts below Rs 2 crore on single tenure Senior citizens will get an additional 50 bps interest on existing interest rates on deposits below Rs 2 crore These fixed deposit schemes come with tenors ranging from 7 days to 10 years.
PNB FD Interest Rate 2024
Punjab National Bank (PNB) offers fixed deposit for interest rates ranging from 3.50% p.a., and 7.25% p.a. The highest interest rate is offered for deposits below Rs.2 crores.
PNB offers FD interest rates between 3.05% to 7.25% to general citizens for tenors ranging from 7 days to 10 years, the highest interest rate is 7.25% for a tenure of 444 days, senior citizens are offered higher interest rates ranging from 0.50% to 0.75% above the general public rates.
For deposits maturing in 1 year, the bank cut the interest rate for general citizens by 5 bps from 6.80% to 6.75%, last month the bank cut the interest rate on FDs maturing in 666 days to 7.05% from 7.25%.
