(Mathematics) Candidates for the academic year 2025-25, Eligible candidates can submit their applications through online mode only. Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Kakinada has released the APECET 2025 Application Form on cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/ECET. The Andhra Pradesh Common Entrance Test will be conducted for admission into 2nd year level Lateral Entry into Engineering/Pharmacy Courses for Diploma holders of Engineering and Technology, and B.Sc. Candidates for the academic year 2025-25.
Candidates who are interested in the Engineering / Pharmacy Courses can fill the online application form available on the official web portal. Online registration has already started from March to April 2025 (without late fee), Late fees will be applicable for those who apply after the given dates. AP ECET Eligibility Criteria 2025
To be eligible for this program, candidates must meet one of the following requirements:
- Obtain a Diploma in Engineering and Technology/Pharmacy from the State Board of Technical Education of AP state.
- Pass a 3-year B.Sc Degree with Mathematics as one of the subjects in group combination from a recognized university.
Minimum Marks – Candidates must score at least 45% marks (40% for reserved categories) in the qualifying exam.
Appearing Candidates – Final year candidates can apply, but must clear qualifying exam before admission.
Eligibility for Lateral Entry in B.E/B.Tech/Pharmacy
Candidates who wish to be considered for admission into any course must have appeared and qualified at the APECET-2025, However, mere appearance at the entrance test does not automatically entitle a candidate to be considered for entry into any course unless they satisfy the eligibility requirements and other criteria as per the admission rules.
In each course, admission to 85% of the seats is reserved for local candidates, while the remaining 15% of the seats are unreserved, as specified in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulations and Admissions) Order, 1974.
For unaided private professional institutions (minority and non-minority), the lateral entry seats are 20% over and above the sanctioned intake into the course. In case of university colleges, the lateral entry seats are 10% over and above the sanctioned intake into the course.
While filling up the lateral entry seats based on the APECET-2025 ranks, admission will be given to diploma holders first. Only after exhausting all qualified diploma holders, B.Sc. students (with Mathematics as one of the optional subjects) will be considered for admission.

AP ECET Apply Online 2025 Prosess
To register and submit an online application, aspiring candidates must visit the website www.sche.ap.gov.in/ecet, They will need to provide the following details.
- Qualifying examination details (diploma or degree, as applicable)
- Hall ticket number for the qualifying examination and SSC/10th class
- Details of places of study from 6th class onwards
- Caste category Mee Seva Certificate number
- Income Certificate-Mee Seva Certificate number
- A good quality passport size photograph in .jpg or .jpeg format, with a size limit of 50Kb
- A scanned image of signature affixed with a black pen on a white paper in .jpg or .jpeg format, with a size limit of 30Kb.
- Ration card of the family.
- Aadhar card of self, which needs to be entered in the specified fields.
- The Aadhar card number is mandatory.
- The registration fee can be paid online via AP Online services or the payment gateway provided (through Credit Card/Debit Card/Net banking).
